Steve first entered the business selling IBM POS systems for Dataserv in 1984, ultimately serving as Dataserv's director of retail systems leasing before going on his own and forming POS Plus in 1991. With more than 26 years of experience in the retail industry, Steve is one of the "old-timers" in the remarketing arena. He is an associate director and former board member of the IBM Store Systems User Group. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy from North Dakota State University.

Mark Batton's experience buying, selling and installing refurbished POS systems is his key to helping POS Plus anticipate its customers' needs and deliver on them. Mark has been involved in the industry since 1979 when he joined NCR as a sales representative. He then worked for a food reseller as a regional POS director responsible for 300 stores. In 1984, Mark began selling refurbished NCR products for Dataserv Inc. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Troy developed his point of sale expertise from the technical side. In 1993, Dataserv relied on Troy to head their refurbishment department. Troy joined POS Plus in 1996 as lead technician, a role that also exposed him to the company’s wiring, staging and integration initiatives. In his current sales role at POS Plus, Troy benefits our customers with his unique technical ability resulting in solutions that save our customers real dollars. With over 17 years as a technician/salesman, Troy can help you choose the right product for your environment and solve problems with your current equipment.
